In what some believe is the end of this unfortunate episode, the choice arises to return to the old “normalities” or to remove forever the foundations of this society, of the right and the left.
The “past time” has not been one of freedom, democracy and scientific benefits, as many believed, but rather the pragmatic evidence that everything proposed was a lie that no one was willing to correct.
GREED has been the fate of the last thousands of years, both in monarchies and in the misnamed democracies. There have always been a few who own everything and a few who lack everything.
The basis of education, forming the consciences of young people, sowing seeds that grow in the programmed sense, has been COMPETITION, pandering, military order, conformity …
Silencing those who think, ridiculing them, sending them to psychologists who promptly prescribe stupid and even nullifying formulas, they created generations of minds programmed in conformity and lack of proper judgment.
The few brilliant minds are locked up in houses of mental health, or restricted to their rooms in the father’s house … Or they have known how to lie and hide …
We don’t want the old normal of greed and censorship.
We do not want a macho religion, nor the denial of the value of femininity, nor that we shoehorn the normality of homosexuality that continues to be an absolute minority deserving of the same freedoms as the rest (in this sense: none)
We must return to the roots to return renewed to a new era.
Go through a calm pruner of customs to return to the uses of our ancestors, but this time with awareness.
Use the pagan calendar, to return to natural cycles and not to the capricious ones imposed by a predatory religion.
Believe in ourselves to relate with height with the gods in which we believe, if we believe in any.
Return to the critical spirit of the Socratics and Stoics, to develop a coherent morality.
That is to say: starting from a good base, to launch ourselves to the new one.
Our new society will change its objectives from GREED to SOLIDARITY, from self-benefit to the collective, from programming to creative education, from industrial production to community.
The large and ostentatious houses will be exchanged for small single-family cabins with surrounding cultivable land, low consumption, self-sufficient.
Community centers will be built to share time with neighbors, make decisions, celebrate …
Communities will be built close to rivers, beaches, and lakes.
Everything else will be demolished and planted with trees.
I know we dreamed of this in the 60’s and only a few made it. Perhaps now we are not a majority either. But we should find a way (and the governments to favor it) so that those of us who want to can settle in rural places.
But surely this will not be possible in peaceful terms, busy as they are in selling us panic and hatred, aided by a criminal press and collaborative science.
Could it be, then, that we can go to live beyond the ice barrier?
