Knowing what happens does not make you free. The truth, from a dialectical point of view, is a utopia.
Freedom in a material existence is also a utopia.
In a dual universe, the succession of causes and effects establishes that the phenomena are impermanent and, therefore, in constant mutation. The truth is something immovable and therefore impossible in the dimension governed by space and time, where there is perpetual movement or flow.
As long as we have a physical body, we “need” things like breathing, eating, and so on. and this makes us dependent on the environment and on people and entities that take advantage of our condition to submit. This is so decisive that if we could live only with the energy of the Sun, we would still depend on this star.
Even knowing all this, we are not awake, we only know our existential condition. That if: this is the basis of our conscious growth.
Being awake requires having come out of both conditions, that is, to be able to perceive the immovable (the truth) and to dispense with one’s own existence, passing to an absolutely spiritual one.
However, our current condition is self-inflicted, otherwise the spirit could not experience existence in the material world.
We should “learn” to travel this existence as explorers, not as workers. In this sense, having abandoned our survival as hunter-gatherers, to obtain a false security in civilization, has cost us nothing less than our free will (semi-dependent).
